I. Position

Full-time English online 1:1 tutor

II. Job description

• Interviewing and implementing placement tests for students
• Preparing one-to-one review lessons in accordance with student’s learning pace (Contents are obvious);
• Delivering one-to-one review lessons to students via video calls;
• Keeping track of students’ learning pace, and making recommendations if needed;
• Engaging students into the video-call lessons with various techniques;
• Assessing students’ performance daily and monthly (forms are simple);
• Collaborating with parents on students’ progress as scheduled (via video calls);
• Collaborating with other departments in the company in all the processes that involve students’ scheduling, learning pace, ect. to assure the effectiveness of the program;
• Doing peer observation, and other quality assurance processes to assure teaching quality.

III. Requirements

• Fourth-year students or bachelors from an accredited university/faculty of English language;
• Passion & patience for teaching students at the age of 6-15;
• A laptop, a headphone and a mike with provision of high-quality Internet connection;
• Good spoken English;
• Good Office IT skill;
• Time-management, self-management and communication skills;
• A qualification in English Language Teaching (TEFL/TESOL) or an English Test Certificate (IELTS/TOEFL) or experience with online class is preferred;
